Pharmacological Intervention

  • Aspirin for chest pain of suspected ischemic origin
  • Assisting a patient in administering his/her own prescribed medications, including auto-injection
  • Continuation of crystalloid infusion without rate change
  • Inhaled bronchodilators (Albuterol Only) for dyspnea and wheezing

Psychomotor Skill

  • 12 lead ECG acquisition and transmission to ED
  • Blind Insertion Airway Devices
  • Cardiac Monitor
  • Mechanical patient restraints
